Heather is a mom, wife, teacher, and coach. She loves helping busy moms feel their healthiest and happiest so they can take care of their families. Heather tries to make nutrition and exercise as fun (and funny) as possible and can often be seen showing off her crazy post-workout wild hair.
She began her journey with the 21 Day Fix program and a goal to kick the last 20 pounds of baby weight to the curb. After losing 12 pounds in the first 3 weeks, the results were undeniable. What Heather wasn’t expecting was to fall in love with the energy and motivation that comes with being a part of a fitness/nutrition accountability group. She quickly signed up to become a coach so she could help others feel their best while continuing to work on her own health goals. Since that first challenge group, Heather has completed the 21 Day Fix Extreme, Core de Force (ask her how she feels about the trainer Joel Freeman), T25, Shaun Week, Shift Shop, 80 Day Obsession, and she is almost finished with LIIFT4. She has maintained a 30-pound weight loss for 2 years and loves feeling strong and in control of her health.
Along with being more consistent with exercise, Heather had to completely change the way she was eating. Her diet consisted of mostly processed foods that she thought were kinda healthy. In reality, she wasn’t fueling her body properly to allow it to work the best it possibly could. Introducing Shakeology and following the portion containers opened Heather to a new world of possibilities when it came to food. She now enjoys cooking healthy meals for her family that are full of whole foods that are so nourishing. And eating healthy has allowed Heather to push herself more with her workouts and has lead to her best results.
Coaching others comes naturally to Heather as it is very similar to teaching- start with instruction, allow people to try it with support, cheer them on, redirect and encourage as necessary, and eventually watch them take off on their own. There is very little that makes Heather happier than seeing her challengers posting photos of themselves with huge smiles on their faces because they have regained their confidence and they feel incredible!
